Center for testing aviation personnel of Kyrgyzstan opened in Bishkek

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2017 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz Aviation College hosted the opening ceremony of the Center for Testing the Air Personnel of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Within the framework of the implementation of the remarks of the previous audit of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), as well as within the framework of the transformation of the aviation college into the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute, the grand opening of the Center for Computer Testing of Aviation Personnel of Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan is held.

The Center is equipped with a new hall for lecture classes for 120 seats and a new reading room for the Institute's electronic library with 80 seats. Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhamshitbek Kalilov and Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport and Communications K. Akyshev took part in the solemn event.

In his speech, Kalilov congratulated the staff of the air school with obtaining the status of the institute and said that in 2017 the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan implemented large-scale projects in all areas of the industry, including in the field of civil aviation.

He also noted that the institute in the future will become an innovative scientific and technical center in the field of aviation in general.
