Central Asian leaders adopt joint statement

Bishkek, March 15. 2018. / Kabar /. As a result of the first consultation meeting of Central Asian leaders, a joint statement was adopted on 15 March in Astana, Kazakhstan. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev informed mass media representatives about it.

He said that at a meeting that was very successful, in the spirit of mutual understanding, a constructive exchange of views took place on all topical issues on the international agenda, including regional security, cross-border issues, transport communications, water and energy resources, tariff policy, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the Heads of State agreed to meet in this format every year before the Nooruz holiday in one of the capitals of the countries of Central Asia. The next meeting will be held in Tashkent in 2019.
