Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2017 / Kabar /. The exhibition entitled "Ishak Razzakov’s contribution to the development of culture of Kyrgyzstan in 1945-1960", will be held in Bishkek in the museum house of Razzakov on Oct. 25.
It is expected that the event will be attended by relatives of the statesman, students of universities and the college named after Razzakov.
The Bishkek Culture Department reported that the organizer of the event is the united directorate of the memorial museums of the capital and the museum house of Razzakov.
Iskhak Razzakov was born on Oct. 25, 1910 in the village of Khorosan Boksa, now the Leilek district of Batken region, in the family of a miner. At the age of 8 he became an orphan and was brought up in an orphanage in Khujand. From 1925-29 he studied at Uzbek Institute of Education (Tashkent), where he later taught social studies. After in 1931-36 he studied at the Moscow Planning Institute.
From 1950 to 1961 he was the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kirghizia.
For more than 16 years Razzakov worked at the highest and most important posts in his homeland and made a great contribution to the development of the economy and culture.
