Bishkek, Feb.15, 2018 / Kabar /. The Kyrgyz Government will conduct a National Campaign, Taza Jashoo (Pure Life) from March 1 to May 31, 2018. It is aimed at mobilizing resources of state and public organizations to improve the social infrastructure, the sanitary condition of urban and rural sites, gardening, cleaning and landscaping in all regions of the country, the press service of the Government reported.
Within the framework of the Taza Jashoo Campaign, it is planned to carry out municipal improvement, which includes a variety of activities - cleaning and removal of construction and other types of garbage, landscaping and the creation of pedestrian path, including such measures as engineering improvement of the territory as waste water disposal, reclamation, construction of car parking places, painting facades of buildings, playgrounds for games, as well as objects that are often called small architectural features.
Within the framework of the Governmental initiative, special ecological actions and measures for protection of the environment are expected. The campaign activities will also be accompanied by cultural and entertainment events: thematic exhibitions and installations, musical events and art competitions.
The campaign will be attended by all state authorities of the country at all levels. The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic calls on public organizations, environment protection specialist, civil activists and all who are not indifferent to the ecological, sanitary condition of the country to take an active part in the three-month period campaign.
Taza Jashoo (Pure Life) implies holding following competitions as well:
- The cleanest region;
- The most environmentally responsible state agency;
- The most environmentally responsible public organization / movement;
- The best idea to develop a thematic mobile application.
The prize money on above contests will be determined by the Campaign Organizing Committee.
Within the framework of the campaign, broad media coverage is planned to mobilize citizens to participate in these activities, as well as the development of a responsible attitude to the country's environment.
