Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2017 / Kabar /. Parliament unanimously approved the candidacy of Sultan Zhumagulov to the post of Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan.
84 deputies attended the session. Following the voting, the deputies unanimously supported Zhumagulov's candidacy.
In turn, Zhumagulov thanked the parliamentarians for their support and said that he would do his best to justify the trust he had shown.
"I understand where I'm going and what awaits me. I will do everything to ensure that the area entrusted to me develops. I have no other way," he said.
Sultan Zhumagulov previously served as general director of the Public Television and Radio Corporation. In February 2015, he resigned voluntarily after the scandal around him.
Recently he worked in the office of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
