Kyrgyzstan and EU held 3rd round of talks on new in-depth cooperation agreement

Bishkek, Apr. 19, 2018 / Kabar /. Within the framework of the received mandate, the 3rd round of negotiations on the draft of the new in-depth agreement on partnership and cooperation was held between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union.

Constructive negotiations were held in the 1st and 3rd thematic groups, which from the Kyrgyz side were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nurlan Abdrakhmanov and Deputy Minister of Finance Mirlan Baigonchokov respectively.

During the meetings, the European side highlighted the importance of the successful visit of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to the institutions of the European Union on April 11-12, 2018. The sides agreed to hold the next 4-th round at the end of June 2018 in Kyrgyzstan.
