State Historical Museum to be opened in Bishkek after reconstruction

Bishkek, Jan. 12, 2018. /Kabar/. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov visited the State Historical Museum to get familiar with the progress of the reconstruction.

Jeenbekov, having familiarized himself with the work carried out, gave recommendations on supplementing the museum's expositions with necessary exhibits.

After the reconstruction, the historical museum will be transformed into a modern museum that meets all the requirements, where it will be possible to receive more detailed information in several languages ​​with the help of media stations and interactive tables. To date, general construction works have been completed.

The capital repairs of internal premises - walls, roof coverings have been carried out, engineering external and internal communications are completely replaced, the equipment and media complete sets are delivered.

Repair works on the adjacent territory of the museum are held at the expense of the Turkish Department for Cooperation and Development under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA).

The opening of the renovated State Historical Museum is planned for March 2018.
