Kyrgyz musical "Song of the Tree" became most sensational at Moscow Film Festival Bishkek, Apr. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. The first international premiere of the Kyrgyz musical "The Song of the Tree" was held at the Moscow Film Festival in Russia.

According to the website of Kyrgyz cinema, the 40th International Film Festival has started in Moscow on April 19 and will last up to 26.

The musical "Song of the Tree" was shown on April 21 in the "Spectrum" program, which is the main one among all the out-of-competition Moscow Film Festival programs.

Memorial complex to be built in Aitmatov’s village Bishkek, March 20, 2018. / Kabar /. A memorial historical and cultural complex "Chyngyz Ordo" will be build in the native village of national writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. The Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan announced a competition for the best draft design with a premium fund of 170 thousand soms.

The complex will be located on the territory of Sheker village of Kara-Buura region of Talas oblast on 15 hectares of area. It should include such components as a museum, a monument, a conference hall, a hotel, a tea house, an entrance group, parking lots. But, depending on the intent of the authors, other objects may be offered, specified in the contest provision.

"Anyone who carries out activities in the field of architecture, urban planning, city design or landscape architecture can participate in the competition. Teams can involve specialists from other areas of activity. As part of the competition, participants should rely on the spiritual heritage left by our brilliant compatriot. Chinese cuisine in Bishkek within framework of Chinese Culture Week Bishkek, March 1, 2018 / Kabar /. Students and teaching staff of the Oriental Languages Department of Manas Kyrgyz-Turkish University organized an exhibition of Chinese cuisine.

Premiere of Kazakh film Oralman will be held in Bishkek Bishkek, Feb.22, 2018 / Kabar /. The premiere of feature film Oralman by Kazakh Filmmaker Sabit Kurmanbekov will take place in Bishkek on March 3, the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Kyrgyzstan will take part in International Festival of Turkic Cinema in Kazan Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2018 / Kabar /. The capital of Tatarstan, Kazan will host the Festival of Turkic Cinema for the first time on March 21-25. The forum will be attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The idea of ​​organizing the festival originated in 2017 at the first meeting of the Association of the Cinema of the Turkic World in Istanbul. The Association's management included well-known figures of cinema, including filmmaker Ogtay Mir-Kasym, film producer from Kazakhstan Kanat Torebai, filmmaker, producer, founder of the Kyrgyz film studio Aitysh Film, the Nika film prize winner Sadyk Sher-Niyaz, Soviet and Turkmen filmmaker, screenwriter and cameraman Khodzhakuli Narliev, Turkish filmmakers and producers Ismail Gyunesh and Fedayi Oztyurk, Russian film producer, Head of Tatarkino and Kazan International Muslim Film Festival Milyausha Ayutuganova.

First Kyrgyz musical film to be shown soon Bishkek, Feb.6, 2018 / Kabar /. The first musical film in Central Asia, Song of the Tree by young film maker, Aybek Daiyrbekov will be shown in March 2018.

Film shooting took place in the scenic beauty surroundings of Lake Issyk-Kul. About 200 costumes were created for the film- all performed in strict accordance with the traditions. Ethnic musical compositions are also written specifically for the film. Filming took place in several regions of the country.

"On March 1, on the big screens of the country, the first musical film in the history of the national cinema Darak yry (Song of the Tree) will be held. Friends, do not miss this great event! Aesthetical pleasure is guaranteed," the organizers said.

This is the first historical musical or epic film. The film is based on two legends, illustrating life and way of life, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz who lived at the end of the XVIII century. The film is about the love and attitude of mankind to nature.

Kyrgyz film Kinoman at International Film Festival in Sweden Bishkek, Feb.6, 2018 / Kabar /. The film Kinoman produced by Askar Nurakun uulu is included into the contest program of the BUFF International Film Festival for Children and Young People in Malmo, which will be held from March 19 to 24 in Sweden, the national film studio Aitysch Film reported.

The Film Festival was founded in 1984 and is a member of the European Association of Children's Cinematography.

The Film Festival introduces the children's audience to the world of cinema and its influence in society, helping young audiences to learn a different culture, broaden their horizons and develop tolerance. Preference in the program is given to films that were not shown before and did not appear in Sweden for public screening. Within the framework of the film forum, seminars and discussions are organized for teachers, filmmakers and cultural figures to promote films for children and young people. The festival features full-length and short films of various genres.

The film Kinoman is the debut student work of the film maker, Askar Nurakun uulu. The film tells the story of a small viewer, an attempt to see a movie that ends in failure. He is satisfied with the sounds of his long-familiar films, where he was not allowed. Thanks to his love and a concurrence of circumstances, he manages to achieve what he wants at the end.

The film is a joint production of the film studio Aitysch Film and Kyrgyz Turkish University Manas. Atai Naamat uulu, Ulan Jukenov, Tursun Mamiraliev played in the film.

The film earlier received the Grand Prix in the Young Cinema Forum of CIS countries Umut that was held in Bishkek from Dec. 18 to Dec.20, 2017 and later in November the film received the Honorary Diploma of the Jury at the International Cinema Festival Etiuda & Anima in Krakow (Poland).

The Erevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater named after Jafar Jabbarli presented a new play Train of Life (Ömür qatarı) based on the work of famous Kyrgyz playwright Mar Baidzhiev, the press service of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The Erevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater named after Jafar Jabbarli is one of the ancient theaters of Azerbaijan and Armenia. In 1928 it received the status of the State Theater.

The theater functioned in the Armenian SSR, remaining the only Azerbaijani theater in Armenia. It was liquidated in 1988.

The creative troupe of the theater continues its activity in Baku since 1989.
