Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . A batch of 200,000 doses of Sputnik Light Russian vaccine against coronavirus will arrive in Bishkek on Friday, the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan said Thursday.
Funds for this purpose in the amount of more than $1.2 million were allocated by the decision of the Russian Government as part of gratuitous assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against COVID-19.
Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29. The country is inoculating its residents with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Astra Zeneca, QazVac and Pfizer vaccines.
A total of 1,220,280 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the country since the start of the vaccination campaign.
