Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2021 . / Kabar /. Bishkek will host on Nov. 5 a business forum "Business Partnership between the European Union and Central Asia", Acting Minister of Investment of Kyrgyzstan Nuradil Bayasov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added that the 2019 ministerial meeting resulted in an agreement to create an economic platform between the European Union and Central Asian countries.
“Business Partnership between the European Union and Central Asia will be inaugurated tomorrow at the president's residence with many dignitaries in attendance. More than 250 entrepreneurs are expected to participate, and 40 companies from Central Asia are also represented. We hope that tomorrow we will be able to reach a number of agreements with European countries," Nuradil Bayasov said
He also emphasized the importance of the event itself
"Central Asia is one region of many opportunities and a new corridor to connect Europe with Central Asia, East Asia, Eastern countries and even the African continent. Within the framework of this event, we will focus on the opportunities of Central Asian countries from the prism of a single market," the acting minister said.
Bayasov added that the investment potential of Central Asian countries is about $170 billion.
"Our strengths are macroeconomic stability, cheap but skilled labor. Thus, we have completed registration of all participants and tomorrow we will be able to hold the "Business Partnership between the European Union and Central Asia" business forum in comfortable conditions,” the official concluded.
