Group of cadets from India arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2018. / Kabar /. A group of cadets from India arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the State Committee for Defense Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

A group of cadets from the Indian side arrived in Bishkek within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General D. Asanov and the National Cadet Corps of the Republic of India.

The Memorandum of Understanding provides for cooperation between Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum and National Cadet Corps of the Republic of India in matters of education and vocational guidance of young people to prepare for admission to higher military educational institutions.

During their stay in the Kyrgyz Republic, cadets from India will be acquainted with the educational process, life and lifestyle of Kyrgyz students.

A special visiting program has been prepared for the guests - presentations about history and traditions of the Kyrgyz people and sights of Kyrgyzstan, visits to museums will be organized, including the museum of Chyngyz Aitmatov, some historical places of the country, as well as one of the military units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Earlier, in 2017 and in the beginning of 2018, the Kyrgyz students visited the cadet corps of India. In February 2019, the next trip of military lyceum students to India is planned.
