President Jeenbekov visits Iskhak Razzakov Museum

Bishkek, Mar.11, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Mar. 11 on the second day of his working trip to Batken Oblast, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited the Iskhak Razzakov Memorial House Museum in Isfana town.

The President toured the museum exhibits and left a memorable note in the visitors' book, his press service said.

Jeenbekov noted the special role of Iskhak Razzakov in strengthening statehood and social and economic development of Kyrgyzstan.

He stressed that this year events within the 110th anniversary of Razzakov will be held at a high national level.

Note that, in January 2020 President Jeenbekov signed a Decree "On the celebration of the 110th anniversary of Iskhak Razzakov".

The Government of the country has established an organizing committee for the preparation and holding of jubilee events.

Iskhak Razzakov (1910-1979) was a Soviet statesman and party leader, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan (1950-61).

Razzakov was fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek and Tajik. Thanks to his efforts, the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, the Kyrgyz State University, the Polytechnic Institute, the Kyrgyz Women's Pedagogical Institute, the Osh and Przhevalsk Pedagogical Institutes, the Kyrgyz Institute of Physical Culture and many scientific and educational institutions were opened.

Under Razakov, significant results were achieved in the development of culture and the media in Kyrgyzstan. Also, 20 large industrial objects of national economy were put into operation, the Frunze plant of agricultural engineering and the Frunze – Osh high mountain road were built.

On the first day of his working trip, President Jeenbekov visited agricultural objects in Batken Oblast.

In particular, the Kyrgyz leader familiarized himself with the projects on construction of a logistics center, a dairy processing plant, a glass plant, a reinforced concrete plant and a slaughterhouse in Batken town.

He also got acquainted with activity of Batken Zonal Veterinary Laboratory, construction of which was launched in 2016.
