Uzbekistan declares next year Year of caring for people and quality education

Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2022 / Kabar/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Tuesday in his annual message to the Oliy Majlis (parliament) determined the main direction of the country's development for the coming year, Kabar correspondent reports.

According to him, caring for a person and quality education are the main priority areas for Uzbekistan for the coming year. “I propose to call the coming year 2023 in our country the Year of caring for people and quality education,” he said in his annual message.

The priority of the country's domestic policy remains concern for citizens and ensuring their interests. “This was the reason for choosing the main direction of the country's development next year,” the President noted.

In Uzbekistan, the outgoing 2022 was declared the Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Development of the Mahalla (place of residence).
