Despite the fact that 93% of crimes in Kyrgyzstan are registered by internal affairs agencies, over the past four years it has been possible to reduce the crime rate by almost 69%, Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov told during a meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The minister said that measures have been developed for the current year to ensure the safety of citizens and the successful implementation of the tasks set.
He noted that these include the creation of a digital police system and the implementation of the Safe Country project, the continuation of construction work as part of strengthening operational and service activities, strengthening the fight against crime and offenses, improving the quality of services provided to the population, strengthening the material and technical base, as well as taking measures to prevent domestic violence and prevent acts of violence.
