Energy agreements signed between Kyrgyzstan and China

Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2025 /Kabar/. Investment agreements in the energy sector were signed in Beijing as part of the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to the People's Republic of China.

The press service of the head of state said that an Investment Agreement was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chinese company Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd. The document provides for the construction and operation of a 300 MW wind power plant in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, another Investment Agreement was signed with Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd., which is aimed at creating a 300 MW solar power plant.

These agreements open up new prospects for energy cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, contributing to the development of renewable energy sources, attracting investment and strengthening the energy security of the republic.
