Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. January 28, 2025 marks four years since Sadyr Zhaparov was elected President of Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Zhaparov won the early presidential elections on January 10, 2021, receiving 79.2% of votes.

During his presidency, Sadyr Zhaparov has made significant efforts to strengthen the economy and develop infrastructure.

In recent years, the country has managed to resolve border issues and significantly improve the defense capability of the army.

Kyrgyzstan is actively fighting corruption and organized crime. As a result of anti-corruption measures, billions of soms have been returned to the treasury.

The country is actively building tourism facilities, hotels and recreation areas that meet international standards. More than 10 thousand mortgage apartments have already been built.

Major projects are being implemented, such as the construction of large and small hydroelectric power stations throughout the country, the construction of the city of Asman and the launch of the Three Peaks ski project.

Large-scale work is being carried out to return state property. In a short period of time, under the leadership of the president, domestic airports have been revived, which were completely reconstructed or built anew, and domestic flights have been restored.

The country's GDP has reached 1.5 trillion soms.

Over the past four years, many social facilities have been built in Kyrgyzstan:

  • • 2021: 109 facilities, including 59 schools, 12 kindergartens, 11 hospitals, 4 cultural facilities, 2 sports facilities, 13 clean water facilities and 8 other facilities.
  • • 2022: 96 facilities, including 37 schools, 12 kindergartens, 2 hospitals, 2 industry facilities, sports facilities, 38 clean water facilities and 1 other facility.
  • • 2023: 210 social facilities, including 124 schools, 11 kindergartens, 5 hospitals, 2 cultural facilities, 7 sports facilities, 46 clean water facilities and 15 other facilities.
  • • 2024: 230 social facilities, including 100 schools, 31 kindergartens, 11 healthcare facilities, 7 cultural facilities, 13 sports facilities, 12 residential buildings, 19 clean water facilities and 7 other facilities.

In addition, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway is under construction.

Today, Kyrgyzstan is looking to the future confidently.
