Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al Mazrouei as part of his participation in the World Government Summit in Dubai.
The head of the Cabinet noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations, emphasizing that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches great importance to further strengthening and deepening cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in promising areas of the economy.
Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suhail Al Mazrouei expressed readiness for further interaction and cooperation in areas and projects of mutual interest. He especially noted the existing potential of Kyrgyzstan in the energy sector, expressing interest in developing cooperation in this area.
The parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic cooperation, in the spheres of energy, infrastructure and investment.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects, attracting investments in the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the possibilities of cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources. In addition, the head of the Cabinet invited the UAE minister to take part in the investment forum in the format of the "Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf and Central Asia", which is scheduled to be held in Bishkek this year.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
