Kyrgyzstan's GDP in January 2025 amounts to 96.8 bln soms

Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s economy saw growth in key indicators in January 2025, Nazira Kerimalieva, First Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committeetold reporters.

She said that the gross domestic product in January 2025, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to 96.8 billion soms and increased by 10.6 percent compared to January 2024.

Kerimalieva noted that the volume of industrial output in January 2025 amounted to 46.6 billion soms and increased by 10.7 percent compared to January 2024 due to an increase in the production of refined petroleum products by 2.4 times, food products (including beverages) and tobacco products by 1.6 times, chemical products by 1.5 times and pharmaceutical products by 33.7%, rubber, plastic products and building materials by 20%, in textile production, clothing production by 4.2%, as well as mining by 2.5%.
