Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2025 . / Kabar / . As part of his working visit to Armenia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev held a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the two ministers held narrow and extended format meetings.

During the talks, the sides reviewed the current state and prospects for further expansion of relations between the two countries.

Kulubaev and Mirzoyan expressed readiness to make joint efforts to strengthen political, trade and economic cooperation, noting the great potential and availability of a wide range of tools in this direction.

Special attention was paid to the intensification of cooperation within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the next meeting of which is scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan this year.

The foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia also expressed readiness to further continue cooperation within integration associations, the United Nations and other international organizations, including mutual support for the promotion of the candidacies of the two countries.

As a result of the negotiations, the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia for 2025-2026 and the Agreement on Cooperation between the Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry and the Diplomatic School of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Armenia were signed.
