Bishkek, Jan.24, 2025. /Kabar/. In 2024, the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan collected KGS 123 billion 085.6 million of customs payments.

The Service reported that the revised revenue forecast for 2024 amounted to KGS 121 billion.

By Dec. 24, this indicator was not only met, but also exceeded - the total volume of collected customs payments last year reached KGS 123 billion 085.6 million. This is KGS 2 billion 085.6 million more than the established plan, which is 101.7% of the forecast figure.

Compared to 2023, the revenue increased by KGS 11 billion 583.8 million, or the growth rate amounted to 110.4%.

Achievement of such results was possible due to consistent and large-scale work such as:

- optimization and simplification of business processes;

- increasing the capacity at border crossing points;

- introduction of modern digital technologies;

- strengthening the fight against smuggling.

These measures made it possible not only to achieve financial goals, but also to improve conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.
