Bishkek, Jan.29, 2025./Kabar/. Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva met with representatives of the Japanese delegation.
The press service of the Education Ministry reported that the delegation consisted of Director of Metarise Japan Nakamura Ryota, Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Japan Yotsuhashi Michinori and Secretary of the Kyrgyz Diaspora in Japan Timur Bukuluev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of education and opportunities to improve school meals in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Nakamura Ryota presented the project and technologies for the production of freeze-dried products, proposing their supply for school canteens. The production of such products will be established after the completion of the construction of a factory in Belovodskoye village, for which a land plot has already been allocated.
The head of the Japanese delegation also expressed readiness to provide products for school canteens, focused on improving the quality and usefulness of the diet, with the possibility of further sales through retail chains. As part of the project, the company plans to develop and produce balanced meal kits, including special variants for diabetics.
“The plant, which will produce freeze-dried foods for schools, is scheduled for completion in June-July 2025. This cooperation is an important step towards improving the quality of school meals in the Kyrgyz Republic, and also opens new opportunities for the development of agriculture and industry in the country,” the report said.
