Special representative of Japanese PM to visit Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 30, 2025. /Kabar/. Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Japan Akihisa Nagashima will visit Kyrgyzstan on February 3 of this year. This became known during a meeting between Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev and Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Hideki Goda.

According to the information, the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation will be discussed during the visit of the special representative of the Prime Minister of Japan, as well as issues of preparation for the first summit of the heads of state of the “Central Asia + Japan” dialogue.

The meeting of chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Japanese ambassador was held on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations, paying special attention to issues of trade and economic cooperation and attracting investment.
