Bishkek, Jan.28, 2025. /Kabar/. Last year, 2406 transactions totaling KGS 109 billion 779.15 million were made on the trading floor of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.
The press service of the Stock Exchange reported that KGS 80 billion 683.19 million, where in 2023 the number of transactions - 2,024.00, the volume of trading - KGS 29 billion 95.96 million.
Of these, 1,776 deals were made in the corporate securities market for the amount of KGS 103 billion 613.87 million, 620 deals were made in the government securities market for the amount of KGS 3 billion 777.78 million, and 10 deals were made in the commodities sector for the amount of KGS 2 billion 387.50 million.
Compared to the same period of 2023, for corporate securities, the increase in trading volume amounted to KGS 76,072.44 million. In 2024, there was an increase in the volume of trading in the primary market and secondary market, in particular:
- 987 transactions were concluded in the primary market with corporate securities for the amount of KGS 99,205.17 million in 2024, compared to 2023, the trading volume increased by KGS 71,979.39 million.
- In the secondary market with corporate securities during the reporting period, 789 transactions were conducted for the amount of KGS 4,408.70 million, the difference with the results of 2023 is KGS 4,093.06 million.
