Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev participated in the 24th Ministerial Conference of Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC). Head of the Cabinet noted that CAREC has become an effective tool for strengthening regional ties, stimulating trade and investment, accelerating growth and strengthening stability in the region.

"With the assistance of development partners, in particular, Asian Development Bank, a number of regional projects are being implemented that contribute to the development of the CAREC region, and the quality implementation of projects is ensured through the provision of technical advice. Thanks to the CAREC initiatives, access to regional markets and services is expanded, trade growth is promoted, and Kyrgyzstan is positioned as regional hub," he said.

In his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev touched upon the priority areas of cooperation. For example, he expressed interest in expanding and developing regional trade and economic cooperation, and in further developing and modernizing transport corridors to increase trade between our countries.

"In order to strengthen transport and logistics interconnection, we consider a priority to increase investments in the modernization of existing transport corridors, routes and construction of new trunk railways integrated into international multimodal transport corridors passing through the territory of Kyrgyzstan. For the development of regional trade, we consider it important to promote the full implementation of national information systems of the "single window", where businesses and government bodies of CAREC countries can process all documents and permits in the field of foreign trade. This measure will allow to increase the efficiency of border crossings and harmonize customs procedures of CAREC countries. The integration and development of regional economies is impossible without investment in human capital. Therefore, we consider it important to develop national information systems of the labor market of CAREC countries for further integration in order to develop human potential," the head of the Cabinet of Ministers said.

He also added that Kyrgyzstan, as active participant of CAREC program, is ready to participate in the implementation of mutually beneficial initiatives. Number of documents were signed as part of the event.
