Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. The Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic carries out activities to assist Kyrgyz citizens in official employment in the foreign labor market.
As noted by the department, the Center is developing partnerships with a number of countries, providing legal and safe employment mechanisms.
Currently, cooperation is carried out with the following countries:
- Republic of Korea
- Russian Federation
- Great Britain
- Republic of Kazakhstan
- Federal Republic of Germany
- Republic of Belarus
Since the beginning of 2025, new partnerships have been established and cooperation agreements have been concluded with the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Turkiye, the Italian Republic and the State of Japan.
During 2024, with the assistance of the Center, 4,293 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic were employed abroad, including:
🔹 Great Britain - 3,855 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic;
🔹 Republic of Korea - 421 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic;
🔹 Russian Federation - 13 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic;
🔹 Republic of Kazakhstan - 10 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic;
🔹 Germany - 7 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the Center performs an important function of making decisions on issuing permits for the right to employ citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad, strictly in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Through private employment agencies, 16,204 citizens were employed in 2024, and as of February 26, 2025, 1,064 applicants were employed.
Today, 197 private agencies officially provide employment services to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in 29 countries around the world, which allows for legal and safe conditions for labor migration. The Center continues to work to expand the geography of cooperation, improve mechanisms for regulating labor migration and protect the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad, the statement says.
