Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2026 /Kabar/. As of January 1, 2026, there are 5,547 job vacancies in Kyrgyzstan, Ministry of Labor reports.

It is noted that the greatest demand is for blue-collar jobs.

Currently, the official unemployment rate in the country is 1.3%. The number of unemployed registered with employment services is 56,500, of which 38,100 are officially registered as unemployed. With the assistance of the employment service, 17,454 people have been employed (as of 2025).

Vacancies are available for the following professions:

Preschool and school teachers – 350;

Healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and orderlies) – 320;

Cashiers – 151;

Sales agents – 63;

Government and municipal employees – 36;

Managers – 95;

Accountants – 150;

Lawyers – 24;

Economists – 40;

Administrators – 96;

Interns – 185;

Blue-collar workers – 4,251;

Computer specialists – 253;

Cooks – 420;

Sales managers – 400;

Sewing workers – 1,850;

Welders – 150;

Construction workers (drivers, mechanics, welder, carpenters, turners, fitters, concrete pourers, etc.) – 373;

Drivers – 1,000;

Service sector workers (hairdresser, manicurist, waiter, cosmetologist, courier, cook, pastry chef, baker, etc.) – 178.
