Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2026 /Kabar/. Since the beginning of the year, 65 cooperatives with a total area of 683 hectares have been created and put into agricultural production in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, the largest number of cooperatives were established in Talas oblast (18) and Osh oblast (17). Ten cooperatives were established in Chui oblast, eight in Issyk-Kul oblast, six in Naryn oblast, four in Batken oblast, and two in Jalal-Abad oblast.
The creation and development of agricultural cooperatives is being carried out within the framework of the Program for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan for 2023–2027, approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 418 of August 23, 2023.
