Adylbek Kasymaliev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev discuss new joint projects

Bishkek, June 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, who arrived in Tashkent on a working visit, met with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Adylbek Kasymaliev conveyed warm greetings from Kyrgyz President Sadyr JZhaparov to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and noted that developing a comprehensive strategic partnership and strengthening good-neighborly relations with Uzbekistan is a priority area of ​​Kyrgyz Republic foreign policy.

He expressed confidence that the Tashkent International Investment Forum has become a key event in the area of ​​investment cooperation in the region, creating all the conditions for establishing contacts between the region's business community and numerous international partners, and that all these efforts will lead to the implementation of joint economic projects to ensure sustainable development in Central Asia.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the active promotion of joint projects and initiatives in the trade, economic, investment, energy, cultural, and humanitarian spheres between the two countries, the development of interregional cooperation, and the successful implementation of agreements enshrined in the relevant roadmaps.

It was also noted that high-level bilateral meetings, events, and important multilateral events involving Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are planned for this year. The Kyrgyz side is actively preparing to organize and host these events, and a number of documents will be signed.

The bilateral meeting took place as part of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
