Bishkek, Feb. 18, 2026. /Kabar/. AgroDialogue 2026 event, organized by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, is being held at Skryabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the event aims to disseminate innovations in the agricultural sector, enhance the exchange of experience between farmers, and improve production efficiency.
During the event, leading farmers recognized as "champions" for 2025 walked the red carpet and were introduced to the public.
Minister Bakyt Torobaev presented medals and certificates worth 25,000 soms to the best industry representatives. These awards not only honor the achievements of hardworking farmers who have achieved high levels of agricultural production but also serve as inspiration for others.
Then, the champion farmers shared their experiences.
Talas Muratov from Manas district of Talas region harvested a high pepper yield of 25 tons per hectare last year, and was named the champion in crop production.
Farmer Askar Tokushev from the Zhayil district of Chui region harvested 1,200 centners of tomatoes per hectare, setting a record.
Shamil Magaza from Moskovsky district produced 800 centners of carrots per hectare and was among the winners, while farmer Seit Polotov from Leilek district of Batken region harvested 600 centners of onions per hectare, achieving a remarkable result.
AgroDialogue platform is an important dialogue platform aimed at disseminating best practices in the country's agricultural sector and elevating agricultural production to a new level. The event makes a significant contribution to the recognition of farmers' work, strengthening competition and developing agriculture on a modern basis.
