Bishkek, July 7, 2026. /Kabar/. Total of 20 employees from the residents of Karakol and Ak-Suu districts have been hired by the state four-season mountain tourism cluster "Ala-Too Resort". Askat Cholponbaev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ala-Too Resort Open Joint-Stock Company told Birinchi Radio.
According to him, special training was organized for local residents in order to ensure the correct and safe operation of the cable cars, and month-long preparation was carried out. During the training, the operating rules, safety requirements, and maintenance procedures were explained in detail.
"In less than a year, the employees of Ala-Too Resort Open Joint-Stock Company, with the assistance of employees of the relevant ministries and institutions, and the company carrying out the construction, managed to build and put into operation about 4 kilometers of cable cars. Currently, employees trained and appointed from among local residents regularly conduct technical tests of the cable cars and check them three times a week. Recently, President Sadyr Zhaparov attended the technical opening of two cable cars. In principle, the facilities were fully constructed a month ago. They have already undergone relevant technical tests and were put into operation after receiving the conclusions of the responsible bodies," he said.
As noted, in order to ensure the stable operation of the equipment and increase the experience of employees, the cable cars undergo additional technical inspections and operation 1-2 times a week until the winter season.
