Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2025. /Kabar/. President of the Tourism Development Support Fund of in the Kyrgyz Republic Kylychbek Rysaliev held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the People's Republic of China Caidan Ranzhy and Gulmeyiz Toktonur kyzy.
The Tourism Fund said that the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism, including business tourism, investment tourism, ethnotourism and sports tourism, were discussed.
The sides noted an increase in the number of tourists from China to Kyrgyzstan. In 2024, 127 thousand 956 Chinese citizens arrived, which is 56% more than in 2023. Kyrgyzstan was included in the list of recommended countries for independent tourists from China.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Kyrgyz Republic and China, which simplifies the organization of group tourist trips, also contributes to the increase in the flow of tourists. President of the Tourism Fund Kylychbek Rysaliev noted that the Fund plans to conduct intensive work with tourists from China. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen bilateral relations and continue regular contacts for the further development of cooperation.
