Bishkek, Sept.11,25. /Kabar/. As of August 1, 2025, 14,989 cases of HIV have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Center for the Control of Hemocontact Viral Hepatitis and HIV reported.
According to the report, 14,105 of them are citizens of the country, 884 are foreigners.
3,698 people died in Kyrgyzstan over the entire period of monitoring the epidemic. In 2024, HIV was first detected in 975 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, while 457 people (46.7%) reported being in migration abroad.
In January-August 2025, HIV was detected in 634 people, of which 294 (46.3%) also reported being in migration abroad.
