Bishkek, Oct. 23, 2025. /Kabar/. The opening ceremony for the reconstructed laboratories and outbuildings was held at the biotechnology department of the Kyrgyz Research Institute of livestock and pastures, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic. The head of the ministry, Bakyt Torobaev visited laboratory's operations. It is noted that the renovated premises, equipped with modern equipment, allow for high-quality biotechnology work. Biotechnology department currently houses breeding bulls, whose semen is frozen, stored, and prepared for further use.
The commissioning of this center will create conditions for improving the quality of determination of the origin, breeding qualities, and productivity of purebred cattle in Kyrgyzstan, as well as for conducting laboratory tests on the semen quality of imported breeding animals and issuing relevant reports.
