The processing industry plays a key role in solving the country's economic and social problems, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev told at the forum "Attracting Investments in Priority Sectors of the Agro-Industrial Complex".
According to him, new enterprises are launched and jobs are created in the processing industry every year. Currently, there are more than 11 thousand processing enterprises of various sizes operating in the country.
"By 2025, it is planned to open 63 new enterprises in the sphere of export infrastructure and the processing industry. 27 of them have already opened, another 36 will open by the end of the year," Torobaev noted.
