Bishkek, April 2.04.26. /Kabar/. Asian Wrestling Championships will be held in Bishkek from April 6 to 12 at Zhashtyk Arena.
According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, this event will bring together the continent's strongest athletes in three disciplines: Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women's wrestling.
About 350 wrestlers will compete in 30 sets of medals.
The championship program is divided into wrestling disciplines:
Greco-Roman wrestling competitions will be held from April 6 to 8;
Women's wrestling from April 8 to 10;
Freestyle wrestling from April 10 to 12.
The Kyrgyz national team will be represented by the country's best athletes: 10 Greco-Roman wrestlers, 9 women's wrestlers, and 10 freestyle wrestlers.
