Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The Kyrgyzstan national team won 14 medals at the 20th Asian Games, held in Aichi Prefecture and the city of Nagoya (Japan), placing 25th out of 37 countries in the overall team standings. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Kyrgyzstani athletes secured 1 gold, 3 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

Zholaman Sharshenbekov — Greco-Roman wrestling (up to 60 kg).
Silver medal winners:
Erlan Sherov — judo (up to 90 kg);
Denis Petrashov — swimming;
Asan Zhanyshov — Greco-Roman wrestling (up to 87 kg).
