Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2026 /Kabar/. Asman Airlines and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC) are strengthening their cooperation in the development of civil aviation and exploring new promising areas of collaboration.
The parties have reached an understanding on further collaboration, one of the key areas of which will be exploring the possibility of Asman Airlines acquiring modern COMAC-manufactured C909 and C919 aircraft.
As part of this collaboration, COMAC will provide the airline with the necessary technical and commercial information on the C909 and C919 aircraft. The parties plan to conduct joint economic calculations of their operational efficiency, taking into account Asman Airlines' current and future route network.
An important part of this future collaboration will be collaboration on airworthiness and facilitating the validation process for COMAC aircraft type certificates in the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, Asman Airlines representatives will visit COMAC's production facilities in Shanghai, where they will be able to learn about the aircraft production process and hold detailed discussions on future cooperation.
