Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ayaz Baetov, presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Following the ceremony, a brief protocol meeting took place, during which the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the UN.
Ayaz Baetov expressed gratitude to the Secretary-General for his continued attention to Kyrgyzstan, close cooperation, and support for initiatives within the UN.
In turn, António Guterres congratulated Ayaz Baetov on the beginning of his diplomatic mission as Permanent Representative to the UN and expressed his readiness to further strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was noted to have been held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
