Azerbaijan plans to supply petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are working to expand cooperation in the petroleum products and energy sectors, Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov announced.

According to him, the memorandum signed between the relevant ministries of the two countries will help resolve issues related to changes in the global oil market.

The minister noted that the parties have reached an agreement in this regard and are currently working on specific delivery mechanisms.

The minister also reported that Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have prepared an energy roadmap and are negotiating the construction of small hydroelectric power plants. Specific agreements in this area are planned for the near future.
