Bishkek, July 22, 2026 /Kabar/. Representatives of leading Azerbaijani media outlets visited Kabar news agency and learned about the agency's operations as part of press tour in Kyrgyzstan.

The guests were told about the history of Kabar's creation and development, its main areas of work, modern formats for presenting information, and the organization of the editorial process. Azerbaijani media representatives were shown the agency's editorial work, its technical capabilities, and were also told about the preparation of news materials and the journalists' interaction with foreign news agencies.

According to Leyla Muradzade, Azertac news agency journalist, upon their arrival they visited the Ala-Archa Nature Park and admired Kyrgyzstan's natural beauty.

"The nature in Kyrgyzstan is beautiful, reminiscent of Azerbaijan. "We have a trip to the pearl of Kyrgyzstan Issyk-Kul ahead of us. I believe such meetings will help strengthen ties between journalists of the two countries, exchange experiences, and develop cooperation between the media of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan," she said.

The press tour program aims to expand professional interaction between representatives of the two countries' media communities, strengthen mutual trust, and develop public diplomacy, which plays a vital role in further rapprochement between the fraternal peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

During their stay in the republic, Azerbaijani journalists will visit leading domestic media outlets and modern approaches to state information policy. They will also participate in a cultural and educational program, including visits to the country's natural and tourist attractions.

As a reminder, the visit was organized by the head of state's press secretary, Askat Alagozov, on behalf President Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of the further deepening of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation in the information and humanitarian spheres.

Similar educational visits were previously successfully organized for representatives of leading media outlets in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
