As part of the official Kyrgyz delegation's visit to the United States, headed by President Sadyr Zhaparov, where events are taking place to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the C5+1 format, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov spoke at the panel session "How to invest in Central Asia" on November 6.
According to the ministry, in his speech, the minister noted the region's strategic role in the global economy and emphasized the importance of the C5+1 format as an effective platform for building trust, expanding partnerships, and promoting joint initiatives between the countries of Central Asia and the United States.
Following the event, Bakyt Sydykov announced the holding of the B5+1 Regional Business Forum, scheduled for February 4–6, 2026, in Bishkek.
According to the minister, the upcoming forum will be a key platform for discussing new investment opportunities and strengthening practical cooperation between the business communities of Central Asia and the United States, as well as for presenting Kyrgyzstan's economic potential on the international stage.
