Bishkek, Oct 2.2025 /Kabar/. Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, the ministry's press service reported.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the university's efforts to train specialists and personnel for the agro-industrial complex.
During the visit, the minister toured the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Faculty of Agriculture, all equipped with modern laboratories. Students study food and chemical engineering, biotechnology, veterinary science, plant production, biology, plant protection, and other disciplines crucial to the development of the country's agriculture.
During a meeting with university staff and students, Bakyt Torobaev outlined the five main areas of the ministry's work, emphasizing that science and knowledge sharing are key factors in the development of the country's agricultural sector.
In conclusion, he emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in order to implement scientific innovations into practice.
