Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2026 /Kabar/. Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev met with Nodira Mansurova, the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
According to the municipality, at the start of the meeting, Aibek Dzhunushaliev congratulated Nodira Mansurova on her appointment as EBRD Regional Director and wished her success in her work.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation on the implementation of joint projects in Bishkek. In particular, they discussed projects involving the municipal enterprises "Bishkekteploenergo," "Bishkekteploset," and "Bishkekvodokanal," as well as the development of public transport in the capital.
Nodira Mansurova noted the positive changes taking place in Bishkek and highlighted significant achievements in urban infrastructure development.
"Bishkek has become much more beautiful today. I believe this is the result of the extensive work carried out by you and your team," she noted. At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their interest in continuing constructive cooperation aimed at developing urban infrastructure and improving the quality of the urban environment in Bishkek.
