Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. On September 8, a meeting took place at Bishkek Mayor’s Office with foreign guests and representatives of the global film industry who had arrived in Kyrgyzstan for the 6th World Nomad Games, the city administration reported. Among the guests visiting the capital are Assol Moldokmatova, Honored Cultural Figure of the Kyrgyz Republic; Natalia Arinbasarova, Honored Artist of Russia; Hollywood actress Bai Ling; Don "The Dragon" Wilson, an 11-time world kickboxing champion and Hollywood actor; Oscar-winning producer Zbigniew Zmudzki; and Hollywood producer Eric Yalgashev.
Bishkek Deputy Mayor Atay Muratbek warmly welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their visit to the capital.
"It is a great honor for us to host guests who have traveled from various countries and corners of the globe to be part of the 6th World Nomad Games. We are sincerely happy you are here and appreciate that Bishkek has become a meeting place for people united by sport, culture, tradition, and friendship. We also hope you will consider Bishkek as a promising world-class filming location," noted Atay Muratbek.
The guests shared their impressions of their stay in Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan, highlighting the warm welcome, hospitality, and the changes that have taken place in the capital. They also spoke about their experiences at the World Nomad Games and emphasized the country's progress.
Assol Moldokmatova, Honored Cultural Figure of the Kyrgyz Republic and Vice-President of the Chingiz Aitmatov Issyk-Kul Forum, thanked the Mayor of Bishkek and the city administration for supporting social and educational initiatives, noting that such attention from the city is crucial for the implementation of socially significant projects.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative gifts and a group photo session.
