Bishkek discusses children's rights and women's leadership

Bishkek, July 31, 2026. /Kabar/. Bishkek holds meeting the National Council on family, gender development, social protection, and children's rights at Yntymak Ordo.

Thirty-four members of the National Council participated in the meeting. Representatives of government agencies, the expert community, and international partners gathered under the leadership of Children's Rights Commissioner Asel Chynbaeva.

The agenda included issues related to protecting the rights and care of children repatriated from foreign countries, moral education of children, the program for developing women's leadership in the country, and issues related to the implementation of the social contract.

During the meeting, participants provided information on the work completed and made a number of proposals.

"Each agency provided information on its work completed. They voiced their proposals. In implementing the social contract, emphasis was placed on improving methodology, paying special attention to the psychological health of citizens, and ensuring equal treatment for all citizens," noted Asel Chynbaeva.
