Bishkek produces over 76 bln soms worth of industrial output in H12026

Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2026 /Kabar/. In the first half of 2026, Bishkek enterprises produced 76 billion 4 million soms worth of industrial output, while gross construction output reached 54 billion 920 million soms, First Deputy Mayor Kubanychbek Imanaliev spoke at meeting of the Bishkek City Hall Board.

It should be noted that a board meeting was held in Bishkek, chaired by Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev and Acting Chairman of the Bishkek City Council Zhyldyzbek Abdraimov.

Imanaliev presented a report on the results of Bishkek's socioeconomic development in the first half of 2026 and the Mayor's Office's objectives for the second half.

By the end of 2024, Bishkek accounted for 47.0 percent of the country's gross domestic product. In the first half of 2026, city enterprises produced industrial output worth 76 billion 4 million soms, with a physical volume index of 116.1 percent. Bishkek's share of national production volume was 16.9 percent.

One of the key national industrial development projects is "100 Industrial Enterprises - 2026." As part of this project, four new manufacturing facilities to be commissioned in Bishkek. The volume of market services amounted to 777 billion 799 million soms, with a growth rate of 9.1 percent. The city's share of the national total was 64.3 percent.

Gross construction output reached 54 billion 920 million soms, a 1.7-fold increase compared to the same period in 2025. Bishkek's share of the national total was 26.3 percent.

The consumer price index, which reflects the rate of inflation, was 110.1 percent compared to the same period in 2025.

The nominal average monthly wage was 64,293 soms, an increase of 23 percent compared to the same period in 2025.
