Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Bishkek holds conference on trade and economic cooperation, "China (Shandong Province) - Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries".
According to the municipality, the event took place on July 30 and was organized by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, People's Republic of China.
Bishkek First Deputy Mayor Kubanychbek Imanaliev attended the event, delivering a welcoming speech and presenting the investment and economic potential of Kyrgyz capital.
The key event of the conference was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Bishkek City Hall and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province.
It is noted that the document aims to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and industrial spheres, expand business ties between enterprises, and create favorable conditions for the implementation of joint projects.
During the conference, representatives of the Bishkek City Hall also held meetings with representatives of Chinese government agencies and businesses, during which they discussed promising areas of cooperation in attracting investment, developing urban infrastructure, industry, and digital technologies.
