According to him, this is a very significant event for Kyrgyz sports and boxing.
"This event marks a start that has already been made, but the event taking place on July 3rd is already a major planned start for Kyrgyz boxers in professional league. It's crucial that these guys will already be ranked by the world boxing associations – the WBA, WBC, and others – but this will most likely be through the WBC (World Boxing Council). This event will mark the beginning of the development and strengthening of boxing relations between the countries," he said.
First Vice President of the Professional Boxing League of Kyrgyzstan, Artur Medetbekov, emphasized the importance of the upcoming tournament for the development of sports in the country.
"This tournament is of great importance for Kyrgyzstan. The country's leadership has recently made significant strides in developing sports. Professional boxing is currently doing everything possible to ensure this evening is held at a high level. Professional athletes and guests from several countries near and far have been invited," said Artur Medetbekov.
