Bishkek, July 3, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev received members of the Bundestag Friendship Group of Germany "Central Asia - Germany." Cabinet of Ministers reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed wide range of issues of bilateral and interregional cooperation.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that interparliamentary dialogue plays a vital role in developing a long-term partnership, and the Bundestag Friendship Group makes a significant practical contribution to this process. It was noted that Germany is one of Kyrgyzstan's key partners in the European Union, has trusting political dialogue and a shared commitment to stability and development in the region.
Moving on to the economic bloc, the chairman informed the German guests about Kyrgyzstan's sustainable economic development. He also added that the Cabinet of Ministers continues consistent reforms to improve the business climate, simplify administrative procedures, and digitalize government services.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted the growing interest of German businesses in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the existence of successful cases of joint cooperation in the agricultural sector, manufacturing, and industry.
In the cultural and humanitarian sphere, the parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of educational, scientific, and humanitarian ties.
In turn, the head of the German delegation congratulated the Kyrgyz Republic on its historic election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. The German parliamentarian also noted his deep impression of the rapid pace of development and large-scale transformations in Kyrgyzstan in recent years, comparing the current situation with his previous visit to the republic in 2023.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active cooperation in all areas discussed and to further strengthen interparliamentary contacts to deepen the long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
