Business climate of Kyrgyzstan discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 9, 2026 /Kabar/. Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan participated in the presentation of the preliminary results of the OECD study "Business Climate, Digitalization, and AI Implementation in Kyrgyzstan: A Private Sector Perspective," organized with the support of the European Union.

According to the ministry, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Choro Seyitov delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing that the development of a favorable business climate, digital transformation, and the implementation of innovative technologies are among the priorities of state policy. During the seminar, the results of a study on the state of the business climate, the level of digitalization, and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the private sector were presented.

Participants also discussed improving the regulatory framework, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, developing digital skills, and further cooperation between the government, businesses, and international partners.

Following the meeting, it was noted that the OECD study's findings could serve as a basis for further improving public policy in the area of ​​entrepreneurship development and digital transformation of the Kyrgyz economy.
